Inspiration for the exams:
When boulders obstruct the goal you seek
Or you have to conquer a mountain peak
Never lose your mind nor the hope
And you'll see a way to cope
If you have the will then you have the way
And every day will be your day
A force to reckon with you'll be
and possess powers unimagined by me
So never fear
And wipe those tears
And be a man
You begin to see new opportunities
And enjoy understanding what you can
Those around you may rebuke, may laugh
But don't give a damn to them by half
For you possess qualities which must
Have made them extremely jealous
When there is darkness all around
You will see the light
When there is a fire getting big
You will have some water to fight
Say it loud and say it clear
You have it in you for what it takes
To be the best, the greatest
And to put everything at stake.
Just think positive and think straight
And the boulders start to melt
And the mountain peak you had to climb
Is not as tall as you felt.

Jack Ray

Do Ghosts really exist? An ancient question which has not been answered by even the most modern of our devices. But until nothing is proven, ghosts have been a part of thousands of books and movies. Many have profited from them and I hope to entertain you with a poem I wrote last Sunday.
SPOOKY READING:
Walking in a jungle path I once noticed
A wierd whistling sound following me
I tried to run but my feet were numb
Only one thing could save me :my luck

At the joint of the path I saw another young man
Looking worn out yet handsome
I asked his name and he said"Jack Ray
Enviorenmentalist living and dying for the day"

Continued he " To pass the time I will tell you a story
Not very long, very boring or very gory
Once lived a man in the slums and streets
Wanted to be famous someday
But alas, he never knew what a life
Would come across his way

He discovered some wierd things
On the earth itself
But never told a soul about them
Apart from his own self

One morning the sun rose and the birds chirped
But the notepad with all his thoughts
Was never ever seen again
So everyone considered it lost.

But for him the night never came
For that notepad meant him his life
So if you find it someday
Please return it to his wife."

With that I turned right
And Ray went the other way
But in front of me was a gravestone
With the words 'Jack Ray
Environmentalist living and dying for the day'

Divine Voice

It is morning. I am sitting next to my window and thinking of today's newspapers. Death is as common as common cold in India. And so this poem is dedicated to those who have gone to the somewhere from where they will never come back.

The lights are fading
And death is waiting
At your feet to catch you and take you away
But you wont give in
Though your chances are too thin
For death is at your feet and you'll have to pay.

You remember your first day at your new school
You tried to look cool, but were made a fool
Ah, those days tempt you so much
But you cant do anything as such.

The lights fade more and darkness is spreading
For death is impatient and hates waiting.

You remember giving your board exams
Desperately trying to cheat
You dont remeber the answer not a single thing
And the students are too far from your seat.

You remeber breaking the rules on your bike
And your marriage, your children and all those you like
You leave your possesions behind over here
After you have taken there so much care.

You remember all those wrong deeds
You did sometimes to fulfill your needs
And sometimes you were just being bad
For something you wanted or did not have.

You pray for forgiveness drom all those deeds
And a divine voice forgives yuo before you plead.

You know you're gone, you've left your land
For ultimate forgiveness can be granted by only one
And you realise why the divine voice was so calm
For it belonged to yhe one with so many daughters and sons.

Our priorities

When I awoke my priority was to live the day like a king
To have fun as much as possible, to not do wrong a thing
My priorities changed with change in time
And living like a king seemed less important than a dime.

Before breakfast my priority was
To eat as much as I can
And after that my priority became
Not to throw up in front of a man.

At noon my priority was to read and study
To stick to the books like a hook
And after three hours it was to cure my headache
With as much medicine as it took.

My priority at seven, was to go to a party
To look the best dressed smarty
To put on the best clothes and look the look the coolest
To stun all the rest.

Weary at night my priority became
To sleep and awake never again
And so you see these priorities change and change
And trying to fulfill them all
Will be inviting some pain.
